Accommodation at Trans Wales Trails

Cwmfforest herd enjoying some late evening sunshine behind the farmhouse.

All of our trails spends some time at Cwmfforest, in our comfortable farmhouse.  On the Trans Wales Trail (TWT), the National Park Trail (NPT) and the Hay Triangle, we spend some nights away from the farm staying at guest houses and hotels en-route, while the horses are put up at nearby farms. Most of our rooms are twins with shared bathroom, but we do have some en-suite bathrooms and some single rooms.

No single supplements: if you book alone, we will either allocate you to a room on your own if we are not full, or ask you to share with someone of the same gender. If you would like to guarantee a single room, then we may charge a small supplement.

Jacuzzi/ Hot tub: we have a Jacuzzi at the farmhouse for you to ease off your well worked muscles in after a long days riding.  So don't forget your costume!

Meals: Maria's superb Bavarian cooking has earned us a reputation for some of the finest food to be found anywhere on a horse riding holiday.  Luckily you will have the chance to ride off the extra calories! All meals are fully inclusive in your holiday, except on a Wednesday night during BMT weeks when the kitchen staff escape for the night and we ask guests to eat at a nearby pub.  We can cater for vegetarians and any special dietary requirements - just let us know when you book.

You are welcome to bring along your own wine or beer to enjoy with your evening meal.
