undiscovered parts of Wales. Our trail rides vary in
length and complexity, and we can offer something to suit everyone's horse
riding needs. Run by the Turner family for 40 years, we have built a
well-deserved reputation for offering some of the best horse riding and trail
riding to be found throughout the UK.
Cwmfforest Riding Centre lies in
a hidden valley in the Brecon Beacons National Park, and with over 65
horses, most of which are Welsh Cobs bred and broken to ride here on the
farm, we are able to offer a range of horse riding holidays
to suit all abilities. Our high return rate is a testament to our
ability to match horses and routes to each rider. We are not a riding
school or trekking centre, and you will soon notice the difference - our
horses are fit, intelligent, friendly and forward-going.
Trans Wales Trails horse riding holidays range from horse riding weekends run throughout
the year to week-long trails exploring the Brecon Beacons National Park. We also
offer our flagship holiday, the 'Trans Wales Trail', which sees you riding
across the entire breadth of Wales, an incredible experience unmatched by any
other horse riding holiday provider.
Guests stay here at Cwmfforest Farm in our comfortable 17th century farmhouse,
with cosy log fires, home-cooked food, goose-down duvets and our own spring
water on tap. On longer Trans Wales trails we stay at country inns and pubs en
route. And all our holidays and weekend breaks include all meals - just turn up,
relax and we'll ensure you have a enjoyable and memorable holiday.
We are fully approved by the BHS (British Horse Society), and have won
rave reviews in the press.
